Privacy Policy

Loadex ("Loadex," "we," "us," or "our") is a fitness training app for Android and iOS, provided by Loadex Lift LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how it's used. Loadex is currently in active development, and this policy is written to cover the app's features as they are described publicly, including features that are still rolling out.

1. Data stored on your device

Your workout blueprints, live session logs, exercise notes, and the bundled exercise catalogue are stored locally on your device in an on-device database. This data is not required to leave your device for the app's core logging functionality to work.

2. Health data (Health Connect / Apple HealthKit)

If you opt in to wearable-driven autoregulation, Loadex reads readiness-related signals (such as sleep score and heart rate variability) from Android Health Connect or Apple HealthKit to adjust your suggested training intensity. If you opt in to calorie write-back, Loadex may write an estimated energy-expenditure value back to your device's health store.

Health data read via HealthKit or Health Connect is used only to power in-app features you've explicitly enabled. It is never used for advertising or marketing purposes, and it is never sold. You can revoke this access at any time in your device's health permissions settings.

3. Optional AI-assisted feature (Gemini)

Loadex includes an opt-in "Smart Generation" mode for its lookahead conditioning generator. If you enable it, relevant session-planning context (such as time available and equipment) is sent to Google's Gemini model through a Firebase-hosted proxy we control: Loadex never holds a direct, client-side API key. This feature is off by default; a rule-based generator is used otherwise and sends no data anywhere.

4. Account, sign-in, and cloud backup

Loadex is adding optional Google/Apple sign-in and Firebase-based cloud backup so your training history can sync across devices. If and when you choose to sign in or enable cloud backup, your account identifier and synced training data are processed by Firebase (Google) on our behalf, solely to provide that feature. This is opt-in: using Loadex without an account keeps your data local to your device.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Loadex offers a free tier alongside optional paid features. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat, which handle payment details directly, and Loadex never sees or stores your payment card information. RevenueCat receives purchase and entitlement data (e.g. which subscription tier is active) needed to unlock paid features on your account.

6. Analytics (app and website)

In the app:Loadex uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate, for example which features are opened, how often sessions are logged, and general device and app-version information, so we can improve it. These are product-usage events; they never include your health data, workout contents, or any values read from HealthKit / Health Connect. Firebase Analytics also processes a mobile app-instance identifier and coarse, IP-derived approximate location on Google's infrastructure. You can turn this off at any time with the Settings → Share Usage Data toggle in the app; when off, the app stops sending analytics events.

On this website (loadexlift.app):we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example, which pages are viewed and general device/browser information. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We only load Google Analytics after you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit; you can decline, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site and reloading the page.

Google's use of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can learn more, or opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. What we don't do

We do not run ad networks in Loadex, and we do not sell or share your personal data or health data, including “sell” and “share” as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We do not use HealthKit or Health Connect data for advertising or analytics, as prohibited by Apple and Google's platform policies.

8. Data retention

How long we keep data depends on where it lives:

On-device data (workout blueprints, session logs, notes, and any health-derived values like readiness or estimated calories that get saved into a session) stays on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Loadex does not hold a copy of this data on our servers unless you enable cloud backup.

Health dataread from HealthKit or Health Connect is read at the time it's needed to power an in-app feature and is not separately stored by Loadex; any resulting value you choose to keep (such as a session's readiness score) is saved locally as described above and follows the same retention.

Cloud backup and account data (when you opt in) is retained on Firebase for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion at support@loadexlift.app or through our account deletion page, we delete it within 30 days.

Smart Generation requests (Gemini, via our Firebase proxy) are processed to generate your result and are not stored by Loadex afterward. Google may retain the request transiently for abuse-prevention and service-operation purposes under its own policies.

Analytics data (Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics 4) is retained by Google under its standard Firebase Analytics/GA4 retention settings and is deleted or aggregated automatically after that window. You can stop new analytics data from being collected at any time via Settings → Share Usage Data in the app, or the website cookie banner.

Subscription and purchase data is retained by Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat for as long as needed to manage your subscription, and afterward as required for their own accounting, tax, and legal obligations.

Feedback you submit through the in-app feedback form is retained as part of our internal support records until we no longer need it to improve the app, or until you ask us to delete it at the contact address above.

9. Your choices and rights

You can disable wearable autoregulation, calorie write-back, Smart Generation, and cloud sync individually in Settings. Because most data is local-first, deleting the app removes locally stored data from your device. If you've enabled cloud backup, contact us at support@loadexlift.app to request deletion of your synced data. Full step-by-step instructions for deleting your account and data are on our account deletion page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, or deletion requests under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), reach out to the same address and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

10. Children's privacy

Loadex is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Loadex's features change, particularly as account sign-in, cloud backup, and billing roll out fully. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be reflected in the app's release notes.

12. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
